Lake George, nicknamed the Queen of American Lakes, is located at the southeast base of the Adirondack Mountains in northern New York, U.S.A.. It lies within the upper region of the Great Appalachian Valley. The lake is situated along the historical natural (Amerindian) path between the valley of the Hudson River and that of the St. Lawrence, so lies on the direct land route between Albany, New York and Montreal.

I am a professional photographer and artist, have been shooting digital since 1999 and before that I used film. I do a lot of stock photography work, shoot travel images for tourism companies, shoot portraits and just retired from wedding photography. I think I've done it all at one time or another in my 25 years as a photographer. I also paint from my photographs. I love scenery, landscapes, flowers, barns and houses, to name just a few. I have photographed and painted literally hundreds of barns and buildings and am working a little each day to upload my work to this site.
