Artist's Description
While on vacation a couple of years ago we took our travel trailer and camped at a wonderful KOA campground in the mountains of North Carolina near Black Mountain. We stayed across the lake from the tent area and had a wonderful view of the tents and campsites on the other side of the lake. I would get up in the morning and shoot pictures of the tents reflecting in the lake water before everyone else was up and about and the water was still calm and peaceful. This painting is inspired by memories and photos that I shot of the campsites across the lake from us with reflections in the water.

I am a professional photographer and artist, have been shooting digital since 1999 and before that I used film. I do a lot of stock photography work, shoot travel images for tourism companies, shoot portraits and just retired from wedding photography. I think I've done it all at one time or another in my 25 years as a photographer. I also paint from my photographs. I love scenery, landscapes, flowers, barns and houses, to name just a few. I have photographed and painted literally hundreds of barns and buildings and am working a little each day to upload my work to this site.
