Description
A few years ago we visited an area called Black Mountain in the North Carolina mountains. We came upon Lake Susan which is so beautiful in the fall with all the colors and I went there specifically to shoot the trees. However, docked alongside the small lake were several canoes nestled between small piers and I thought they were so pretty. I photographed them and used the image as inspiration for this watercolor painting. Canoes At Lake Susan by Anne Kitzman 2010.
